YOUTH FOR YOUTH

Youth for Youth encourages children of the community to participate in the Angola Project in a direct and empowering way. Young children beginning at age 4 have chosen to participate in many ways, such as walking in a charity fashion show and performing in a talent show. Youth for Youth encourages youth participation in all forms, including event planning, fund collection, carwashes, and more. The program is ongoing and encourages children to think outside the box and bring new and exciting ideas to the table.

ADOPT AN ORPHANAGE

Adopt an Orphanage will deal with the many orphanages and institutions that the Angola Project will seek to sponsor and provide aid to. To date, the program primarily focuses on an orphanage in the Benguela region, but we seek to expand our services to the entire country.

MONTH OF GIVING

The Angola Project's Month of Giving will begin on November 5 and continue into December 5 each year. This is a month long initiative to give private donors the opportunity to contribute directly to the Angola Project and the children the program serves. Those who contribute to the month of giving will be automatically entered into a giveaway to win an IPad Mini which was gifted anonymously to the Angola Project. SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Each year, the Angola Project will hold an essay contest for the children of the Angolan community, which three young students will be awarded a college scholarship, which they will receive upon their high school graduation. The purpose of the program is to encourage the growth and enthusiasm towards education in young scholars, as well as creating an opportunity for Angolan children to move on to higher education.
